Founded by Jawad, a researcher and local guide who has lived in Japan since 2011, Kyoto Heritage Bike Tours offers immersive experiences that combine history, culture, and education. Jawad has guided more than 200 tours for international visitors and brings over a decade of firsthand experience living in Japan. Having lived and worked in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kyoto, as well as in Albany, New York, and Ottawa, Canada, he enjoys sharing Kyoto's rich history, traditions, and hidden gems from the perspective of someone who understands both Japanese culture and the interests of international visitors.
